The infrastructure didn’t exist. The market wasn’t ready. Most people didn’t see the opportunity.

But we did, and we built for the future we believed in.

Today, we’re proud to share a major milestone:

We’ve secured $30 million in Series B funding—the largest ever for an AI company in the Arab world.

This isn’t just about funding. It’s a clear signal that Arabic-language AI, regional intelligence, and deep customer understanding are no longer “nice-to-haves”—they’re the future of business in our region and beyond.

We’ve always believed that the brands that truly understand their customers will be the ones that lead.

And now, we’re more committed than ever to helping you do exactly that.

Lucidya raises USD30 million in largest AI funding round in MENA

We've successfully closed our Series B round, raising USD30 million in the largest AI funding ever recorded in MENA. This achievement is a historic leap forward for our customers first; it belongs as much to you as it does to us.

When we first began training Arabic language models in 2016 while digital transformation was the prevailing trend, it felt audacious. Now, with our proprietary AI engine achieving 92% accuracy across Arabic dialects and serving over 75 million customers and citizens across 11 countries, that early conviction has transformed into a platform that's powering customer experience transformation for the region's most ambitious enterprises.

Following the announcement, CEO & Founder Abdullah Asiri was honored to join Asharq Business with Bloomberg for a thoughtful discussion on how this investment will accelerate our AI Agents expansion, advance Arabic AI and customer experience management, and support our strategic growth into the UAE and Qatar.
